Terra Moons Falling Star, Coalescence, Vela Supernova Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches

Terra Moons Falling Star Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) had more of a transparent base with shimmer that shifted from cooler, brighter lavender to mid-depth lavender to warmer, pinkish-lavender. The finish was an amped up pearl. The consistency was different than almost every other formula I’ve tried, and it was firmly-packed into the pan but almost, squeaky, in its feel.

  • JD Glow Viola (P, $7.50) is more shimmery, lighter (85% similar).

Formula Overview

$17.00/0.05 oz. – $340.00 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to have a black base and “intense color changes” that are best applied with fingertip or a dry brush, as they are “very pigmented and smooth.” The brand recommends not to blend them too much to “preserve the extreme multichrome shift.”

The blackened base was noticeable, but often, it wasn’t quite as dark or as intense as I’ve experienced with other black-base multichromes, so they were a little more forgiving if one blended them out a little too much. Most of the shades lived up to the “extreme” part of the shift, too!

They were richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was lightly emollient but not too thick or too densely-packed into the pan, so it was easy to pick up product with a dry brush as well as fingertips/dampened brushes if preferred. The eyeshadow applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me before creasing visibly.
